The Old Web Works is backed by 15 years of experience in online media roles ranging from webmaster and programmer to content manager and online community coordinator. The Old Web Works aims to provide quality and personalized online services focusing on content that is fresh, aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate.
User-generated content and social media have exploded in the last few years and we've been there from the beginning building online forums, moderating content and supporting the management and development of online community operations.

Solutions and Packages from The Old Web Works
Here at The Old Web Works we offer two distinct package solutions for Web sites. Our managed site packages are for you if you want us to completely manage your site and your content. We will build and maintain your site to your specifications and manage the content according to your wishes with our editorial services. After your site is live we do not charge a regular monthly fee for site management, but charge hourly according to the service you require, saving you money.
Our non-managed or solo solutions are right for you if you want to avoid the technical hassle of setting up and maintaining a site but you ultimately want to manage the content yourself. Once your site is up, you take over and manage it, populate it with content using a content management system such as WordPress or Joomla.
All of our packages require some form of Web hosting or home to house your site on the Internet. We offer affordable and reliable hosting to meet these needs at $75 annually. When using our Web Hosting service, managed site packages include a free monthly metrics report and functionality check of your site. For sites not hosted by us, metrics and function checks are available at the hourly rate for Web Producer services.
Managed Site Packages
Basic - $350
We will setup and manage a basic site for you that includes all of our Web Producer services to build out a main page and a contact form (or two additional pages if you don't require a form). Additional pages or features are billed at the hourly rates for the respective service required. We populate your site with your content and once it goes live we continue to manage the site and its content.
Standard - $600
This is the most popular and standard site package that we will setup and manage for you. It includes all of our Web Producer services to build out a main page and up to three sub pages of content for you. We will also include a contact form (or two additional pages if you don't require a form). Additional pages or features are billed at the hourly rates for the respective service required. We populate your site with your content and once it goes live we continue to manage the site and its content.
Premium - $950
If you have a bit more content to be published, this package is a roomy, money-saving option that includes 10 pages. It includes all of our Web producer services to build out and manage a main page plus up to eight sub pages of content. We will also include a contact form (or two additional pages if you don't require a form). Additional pages or features are billed at the hourly rates for the respective service required. We populate your site with your content and once it goes live we continue to manage the site and its content.
Solo Site Packages
WordPress Setup - $75
WordPress is a popular and easy to use blogging platform. There are tons of available themes and plugins that can enhance and make WordPress unique in every instance. But don't fooled. While WordPress is king in the blogsphere, it is also a powerful content management system and can lend itself perfectly to being the backbone of a business or non-blog content site.
Getting WordPress up and running could never be easier. We will handle the technical setup of your WordPress site by installing and configuring WordPress, a theme you provide and plugin you also provide. We will also port your content from an existing site. Theme customization and additional plugin installation will be billed at the hourly rate for Web producer services. Once setup is complete, you will take over and populate it with content and manage the site through the WordPress administrative interface.
Joomla! Setup - $150
Like WordPress, Joomla! is an extremely powerful and flexible content management system that separates the code of a site from its content, making it easy for site owners to have mastery over their content. The availability of premade themes and addons to expand its functionality can seem limitless.
When content is your focus and you don't want to fuss with the technicalities of setting up a new site, we will handle the setup of your Joomla! site by installing and configuring Joomla! and a template you provide. We will also setup the menu and navigation structure of your site based on your outline of how you would like your site's content organized. Template customization and installation or addons will be billed at the hourly rate for Web producer services. Once setup is complete, you will take over and manage your content and site through the Joomla! administrative interface, but always have access to our management and editorial services if you should need them.
* A complex or extremely long page may be consider more than one page. For valuation purposes, we generally view the amount of content that would normally fit on a printed 8-1/2"x11" sheet of paper to be a "page."
